The TOWER has been designed to reduce plastic use and plastic contact with water as much as possible. The unit and the filtration cartridge are made from hand blown lead free Pyrex glass. The only ”plastics” in direct contact with water are silicone gaskets and some polypropylene separator parts in the filtration cartridge. Polypropylene is known as one of the most neutral plastic and has been chosen because it is one of the most stable available.
